The Gavan Infinity vs Raiya V-Cinext set bundles a Japanese-exclusive movie with the DX Eternity Gavarion Blade. Here's who should buy it and who should pass.

Quick answer

Buy the Gavan Infinity vs Raiya V-Cinext set if you want the DX Eternity Gavarion Blade and follow the Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity storyline closely. Skip it if you only want a display figure or a standalone roleplay toy, because the set is built around a Japanese-exclusive movie disc and a bundled blade, not a standard retail release.

What the set actually includes

This release pairs the Gavan Infinity vs Raiya V-Cinext movie with the DX Eternity Gavarion Blade. The movie explores the mystery of the Gavarion Trigger floating in outer space, picking up from the final episode of Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. The blade is the physical collectible here; the disc is the story payoff. If you have not finished the series, the movie assumes you know how that last episode ended.

Japanese Blu-ray and DVD region differences

Japanese Blu-ray discs play natively in North American players, so the Blu-ray format works without extra hardware. Japanese DVDs use a different region code, so the DVD version needs a region-free player or one set to the Japanese region. That single detail decides the format for most buyers. Choose Blu-ray if you want to watch it on the player already in your living room; choose DVD only if you already own a compatible player or plan to add one.

How the DX Eternity Gavarion Blade fits into a collection

The blade is the reason to buy this set rather than a standalone movie disc. It is a DX-series roleplay item tied to the Gavarion Trigger story thread, so it pairs naturally with other Gavan Infinity merchandise on the same shelf. If you already collect Super Sentai or tokusatsu roleplay pieces, this is the display and handling item; the movie is the context that makes it worth keeping out of the box.

Payment and preorder considerations

This is a preorder item with format and payment options. The catalog price is USD 90.00 against a comparison price of USD 150.00, so the discount is meaningful, but preorder timing still matters. Decide your format before you order, because switching from DVD to Blu-ray later depends on availability. If you are unsure about the movie's story payoff, watch the final episode of Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity first; that episode sets up the Gavarion Trigger mystery this movie resolves.

Trade-offs to weigh before ordering

Blu-ray convenience vs DVD region lock: Japanese Blu-ray plays natively in North American players, but Japanese DVDs need a region-free or Japanese-region player. Pick Blu-ray unless you already own a compatible DVD player.
Bundle value vs preorder commitment: The set is USD 90.00 against a USD 150.00 comparison price, but it is a preorder with format and payment options to lock in. Confirm your format choice before ordering.
Story-driven collectible vs display-only figure: The movie resolves the Gavarion Trigger mystery from the series finale, while the DX Eternity Gavarion Blade is the physical centerpiece. Buy it if you want both the story and the prop; otherwise a standalone figure may suit you better.
